Haven't blogged in ages!!

Well here I am again. Blogging. Not sure if its worth my time but I will try to start back up again. Eric is back in school now and he is there 13 hours a day on Tuesday and Thursday. It sucks but its the only thing that works. But good thing this
semester is over in 4 weeks. Hallelujah!!!

I'm still working full time and that keepsake busy.

PROJECTS

I've been wanting to redo this nasty chair and table for the longest time. It was beige and white. Hated it. So we painted it white and put a cute fabric on it.

Honestly, life has been pretty good so far to us. We are really blessed with a great place to live. Good people around us and school and a job to go to. We are constantly busy with work and homework. (for Eric at least) We feel like life shouldn't be so easy right now but for reason we haven't had any bumps. Except for Eric's idiocy sometimes. HEHE. I can't WAIT for CHRISTMAS. It's my favorite Holiday and what's best is that my parent's are coming to town! And I finally get to buy a christmas tree. I'm super excited.

ZIP-PE-DEE-DOO-DAA!

So several months ago, I saw this great deal on Groupon. It was zip lining down provo canyon. And I had a coupon so it was a great deal! Today, Eric and I finally went zipping down the mountain. To be honest, I was pretty scared at first, since i'm deathly afraid of heights, but it got better and I had a ton of fun!!! This would be such a fun first date! Too bad it wasn't for us lol Afterwards we went to Sonic during happy hour and got some deliciously limeades! WOOOOT!!

Exploring new hobbies.

The last few weeks, I've been contemplating wether or not I want to go on another camping trip. Two in a row is just too much for me. I wish I had stayed home but it turned out to be very fun. Except sleeping is not very comfortable. I couldn't get any sleep at night and I just couldn't stay another day! Plus Eric was getting sick too. I also went to my best friend, Cara, family cabin. It was her family reunion so we only stayed there for 1 night. It was so much fun! I shoulda took more pictures.. :(

Backpacking adventures

Well the transformation to a "Lee" is still in process. Eric comes from a family of campers. And I come from a family of couch sitting. So it's a bit different transitioning to hiking, running, exercising, biking and using my muscles. He loves being outdoors and smelling the trees and playing with rocks. Teehee, just kidding, but really, he loves being in nature. And I love that he has a hobby and he spends a lot of time with his family, but i'm still getting used to it. My dad loved hiking, until he married my mom and she hated it. So I promised him that I wouldn't make Eric quit because I'm not used to it.

This weekend, we went up to Rasmessun lakes with his family and friends. Our neighbors, his cousins, his brother and friend. It was way fun except for the natural bathroom process. I hate it!!!! I can't be happier that I was born in this century and not the 1800's. I wouldn't have survived.

Summer continues

WHAT THE AUGUST? (in 3 days)


It's getting so hot here! Theres no pool or beach to soothe my pain :( Hopefully winter/fall comes quickly and I won't be sweating every moment of my life anymore! It's been a while since the last time I blogged. Lots of things have happened. Like our garden exploded! We only get 4 rows of space, and we are stupid. We planted our tomatoes and cucumbers on the outer rows, so it's going into other people's stuff. And our pepper plants are getting demolished! But we were actually fruitful (plantiful?) this season. Too bad we can't eat a million cucumbers. If you want some, come and get it!

Hiking Saturdays

Today, we went to cecrect Lake. It was a pretty easy hike, until we climb a switch back mountain.. It was ridiculous, but I kept the complaining to a minimum. It turned out to be really cool on the other side of the mountain. Filled with bugs and annoying crawlers.. okay i'm done complaining. It was really fun. Then we got our weight back on at the Philildephain.

On Wednesday, Eric and I both had the day off!! It was awesome! We slept in till with no alarm clock to smash. We went to Murray Park with his family and had tons of fun! The fireworks were kinda lame, no offense, but still a blast!! We also went swimming with Adrienne, Sunny and Addy. She was a good baby (:

BIKES!

Well, it's time to get in shape! Today, Eric and I went to Infinite Cycles and bought my bike! She's beautiful. And we got some gear to go with it. Now, we can match and ride and not be bums!! I just wish the weather wasn't 97 degrees so I can actually enjoy the breeze. But it was awesome! I'm just super tired now...

What the June??


Well I've pretty much skipped a whole month of June! This month has been really hard. My grandmother passed away and that put my mom in Taiwan for a month. She's coming back in 1 week so i'm so excited!! I've missed her, even though she's all the way in Texas, it's still kinda weird that she's in a different country. Plus I don't get to talk to her. She's awesome for dropping everything that's going on and fly 2000 miles to be with her family. She's greatness!

The summer days are getting pretty hot! I thought I left all of that in Texas? I guess not. We found a really cute snow shack in Midvale with my sister in Law and it's delicious!

We also had Cora's birthday on June 3! She's five!! And very girlie girl. I would consider myself the favorite aunt. mmhmm(:

This girl had about 1000million presents. Not spoiled at all...

Eric and I have also decided to go on a weekly hike. During the week, we sit indoors all day from 9-5 and have become very pasty. I mean seriously, other white people are tanner than us. That's an issue. So we have been going on small hikes and gradually getting bigger. I'm not a huge fan of hikes, but I do need the excersise! Plus Eric drags me with him.

Nature week #3.

I made Eric's favorite filipino dish. It's called Sinagong and we ate it for 6 days straight...

And this weekend, I went to my friend Trish's bridal shower. She's getting married! Wahoo! Can't believe it, where are the single ladies?

So lately, I have been experimenting with new foods. Whether it's American or philipino, but I am gaining too much weight. Poor Eric eats all my fattening foods.... Man, I think we need more hikes. I seriously can't wait till I fix my camera, I'm sure Eric would enjoy more pictures taken by me? Nope, he already hates it. I also can't wait for my best from Cara to come back to the United States!!! It's been 6 months plus since I've seen this girl. She keeps leaving me.. maybe that's a sign? just kidding. Also I'm excited for my other best friend Ruta to have her baby in September! Goodbye Eric, I'll pretty much spend all day at her house from then on. And then my Sister in law will have hers end of September! Seriously, who needs to have their own babies with all these other people's babies. Everyone loves an obsessive aunt, right? BABY FEVER!

Vacation could NOT come sooner. Please?? Is it only June??
